Low-E® can be used under your floor in a crawlspace to stop any air infiltration and add high insulating value to your floors. In a crawlspace application Low-E® can achieve as high as an R-20. Low-E will not mold, mildew or absorb moisture, so once it's installed there is virtually no maintenance involved. In areas where flooding is a problem, Low-E® will eliminate the concern of your insulation system performing below average.

Our Low-E® Tab Insulation is designed to be installed in either 16", 18" or 24" stud cavities easily with a staple gun. Low-E® installed in your interior walls provides a radiant barrier, vapor barrier, and gives you an increased R-Value all in one! You can run Low-E® across the face of your studs or tab it in, either way you're going to get a very energy efficient design.

The most typical installation for this application is a standard over the purlins/girts placement. Commonly the insulation is installed from ridge to vent followed by the metal panels. Walls are insulated by stapling the insulation over the girts from vent to sil plate with the wall panels attached over top. Other Low-E products are available for under slab or stud out interior insulation.
