Low-E® Scrimmed

Low-E® is the #1 Selling Reflective Insulation in the country. It is manufactured using a 1/4" polyethlyene foam core with scrim reinforced double-sided aluminum facings. Low-E® can be used in all facets of the building industry where conventional insulations are used. It can be used alone or in conjunction with mass insulations for high R-systems. For use under floors, on walls, ceilings, & rafters, it seals tight around fasteners. From large commercial buildings to residential homes, Low-E® can save you money on heating and cooling costs. Available in 4' x 125' rolls; staple-flange or trimmed edge.

Low-E® Tab

Low-E® Tab material makes installing Low-E® in residential stud cavities as easy as can be. Low-E® Tab is 1/4" LDPE foam with foil applied to both sides, cut to 16", 18" & 24" on center so it can benefit commercial buildings, structures with radiant heating as well as residential applications. Available in 16" & 24" x 125' rolls; and 18" x 100' rolls, creased trimmed edge. For use under floors, in walls, ceilings, & rafters. Can be used with mass insulations.

Low-E® Class A White

1/4" LDPE foam core with polished aluminum foil applied to one side & white aluminum on the other. Available in 4' x 125' rolls trimmed edge, & 6' x 84' rolls; staple flange or trimmed edge. Used to brighten up building interiors while providing the same great benefits. Clean white surface.

Econo-E®

Econo-E® is the economy version of Low-E® and has all the superior qualities you would expect. Manufactured using a 3/16” LDPE foam core, and pure aluminum facings (without scrim reinforcement), Econo-E® is the perfect choice for all building applications. Econo-E® gives homeowners and contractors a premium product for an economical price. Available in 4' x 125' rolls trimmed edge or staple flange, & 6' x 84' rolls trimmed edge.

Micro-E®

Micro-E® is manufactured using the same facings as our Low-E® product but is only an 1/8” thick! Micro-E® can be used as a residential roofing underlayment or as a vapor barrier / insulation behind interior drywall. Available in 4' x 125' rolls trimmed edge. Improves existing insulation systems performance.

Low-E® HVAC

Low-E® Insulation is quickly becoming the insulation of choice for many quality HVAC contractors. Low-E® HVAC is constructed of polyethylene foam faced on both sides with aluminum. Used mainly as a duct insulation this product has many benefits for both the installer and the homeowner versus typical duct insulations. Because Low-E® is faced on both sides with pure aluminum it has an extremely low E-value(.03) which stops up to 97% of radiant heat transfer. Low-E® absorbs absolutely no moisture, so if condensation would occur the insulation will not lose its performance value nor will it mildew or deteriorate. It's totally non-toxic and there are no adhesives used in its construction, resulting in a clean, fiber free, hypo-allergenic duct wrap. Slab-Shield™

SlabShield™ is engineered to not only help prevent heat transfer from ground to slab but also to provide a vapor barrier that protects basements from excess moisture. SlabShield™ is designed with a layer of closed-cell polyethylene applied to both sides of a reflective foil layer. The closed cell doubles as a vapor barrier and a protection for the aluminum against chemical reaction with fresh concrete. SlabShield™ is puncture resistant up to 93 psi and crush resistant up to 70 psi. Unlike other rigid under slab insulation, SlabShield™ adjusts and molds itself to the contours of the grade providing a better and stronger concrete pour. It's lightweight and easy to apply, and will not crack or break like traditional board insulation when walked on. SlabShield™ comes in rolls with innovative inter-locking tabs that provide a perfect seam when using several rolls side by side. All you need to apply Slab-Shield™ is a razor knife and Slab-Shield Tape (Alum-E-Shield), which is necessary for a complete vapor barrier to be achieved. Available on 2 thicknesses, 3/8" and 1/2". 3/8" rolls are 4' x 100' and 1/2" rolls are 4' x 63'.

Alum-E-Shield (Slab Shield Tape)

Peel and stick micro-foam tape, excellent for sealing seams on Slab Shield, and with the introduction of the new pressure treated lumber products many contractors have found that a barrier is needed to keep their metal safe. The new wood products containing CA or ACQ have higher levels of copper than previous pressure treated lumbers. These products when in contact with metal panels or aluminum faced insulation, such as ESP Low-E® Insulation, can cause electrolysis or rusting. At the request of customers and contractors ESP has answered with a this product designed for this application.

Low-E® House-Wrap

Low-E® House-Wrap. This revolutionary product is just what builders have been looking for. A house wrap that does more than simply stop drafts. A pure aluminum facing is heat bonded to one side of closed cell polyethylene foam, then the product is pin perforated. This results in a house-wrap that acts not only as a superior air infiltration barrier, effectively sealing up cracks or gaps in the external sheathing, but it also adds an insulation to the exterior of the home blocking up to 97% of radiant heat. This results in better year round efficiency and comfort levels. Also unlike other house-wraps or insulating products that are traditionally used, Low-E® House-Wrap is totally non-toxic, and its performance is not affected by initial exposure to the elements. This product is available in 4' x 125' rolls with extended flange & 5' x 100' rolls with trimmed edge. Because a roll only weighs about 20 lbs, installation is a breeze, you only need a staple gun and razor knife.
